Linkom inc. ventured into the design and implementation of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN). These networks allow for quick and easy communication between computers in the same office to those in different states or even countries. Our clients have benefited greatly from Linkom's expertise in netwrok design and to this day this continues to be one of our most popular services.
1996-2000
Linkom expanded its enterprise further to include the growing popularity of the internet among its products and services. Web hosting, dial up services, and web site design and implementation began being regular services and the Linkom Internet Services division was born. Internet development and implementation was a growing at a staggering rate at this time and Linkom was able to quickly adapt to new technology and provide web services as well as consulting with expertise in both the Windows and Linux server platforms.
2000-2008
While continuing its hosting and internet implementation services, Linkom began to move in a new direction to keep up with the ever changing world of technology. The new company focus became Linux and Windows integration, netwrok architechture, and wireless technology. A new set of services which came about at this time included building Linux appliances such as Digital Video Recorders, Video Surveillance systems, routers, VPN, web servers, mail servers, samba servers, DNS and DHCP servers. Furthermore, with internet hacking on the rise Linkom invested in security and began to provide security solutions for its clients and their networks including firewals and virus protection.
2008-2011
In addition to the services provided earlier, Linkom focusing on services based on Open Source, Windows / Linux / Unix / Apple OS X / iPhone / iPad / Android integration. Also Linkom implementing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Our user-friendly web based EHR can be activated fast, eliminating the difficult conversion process that has become industry standard. It stands out in a marketplace dominated by expensive, complicated and ineffective EHR systems.
